Cat in Shoes Imports is located in Khotkovo, Russia and Madison, Mississippi and has been in business for over a decade. We are experts in the history and manufacture of fine Russian folk art. We offer the unique ability to work directly with each artist from concept to finished piece.

Our business and the art we offer have been featured in many large-circulation newspapers and magazines both in the United States and in Europe. For many years we have enjoyed participating in hundreds of prestigious art shows and have gained a loyal following with thousands of collectors.

We are very proud of the long-standing, close relationships we have with many of the artists whose work we represent. In addition to being the best and most sought-after matryoshka artists, some are iconographers for the Moscow Patriarchate, jewelers, fashion designers, stone and wood carvers, furniture makers and porcelain sculptors.
