Irina began her career in art after leaving work as an architect in Leningrad
when she married her mathematician husband and moved to the folk art mecca of
Sergeyev Posad. While there, she met another of our artist friends, Margarita
Petrova, who encouraged her to begin painting matryoshki. Irina enjoys painting
ballet, fairy tale and fantasy scenes from her inagination and also designs
jewelry. |
