Svetlana is from Klin, northwest of Moscow, where she was born in 1965. Although
she owned no pets as a child, she paints animals almost exclusively, as she
finds them more novel, they appeal to children and people are "boring" as
subjects. Her dog and cat sets are very popular with collectors. |
